AFRICANA: A Celebration of African and Creole Sounds
Step into the vibrant rhythms of AFRICANA—a colourful live concert showcasing the sounds of Africa and the Indian Ocean islands.
Featuring three sunny local bands —Tchéga, Zukhuta and TTT Afro Band—this high-energy line up invites you to a night of groovy beats and melodies from across the Indian Ocean.
Join us for a feel-good journey through Reunion, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Congo and beyond. Curated cross-band collaborations and guest appearances will make this show extra special.

Held at Mojos Bar, Fremantle as part of WA Music Week (12–21 Sept 2025), AFRICANA is more than a concert—it’s a celebration of heritage, rhythm, and community.
Expect some sega, salegy, soukouss, kwassa kwassa, zouk, rumba, highlife and jazz funk.
